The Chinese lion used in the dance includes a huge multicolour paper head constructed from bamboo structures, fabric, and furs, etc.
The lion is manipulated by two Kung Fu athletes. The athletes use skill, flexibility, power, coordination and ability to convey the lion's spirit. They parade with the prosperity monk and three musicians who play drum, cymbals and gong.

Many Chinese and Asian people invite one lion or more for prestigious events like inaugurations, weddings, birthdays, festivities and other events.
